Australia Post commissioned 26 Australian cartoonists and illustrators to depict the Bicentennial theme of Living Together in a lighthearted and whimsical manner. Views by cartoonists of Australian society in the Living Together issue include Industry by Peter Nicholson, Local Government by Aubrey Collette, Welfare by Ron Tandberg, Education by Victoria Roberts, Armed Forces by Bill Green (Weg), Police Services by Jim Russell, and The Media by Allan Langoulant.
