The Republic of Singapore Air force (RSAF) began in 1968 as the Singapore Air Defence Command. 40 years on, it has transformed into a First Class Air Force , capable of full spectrum operations through an equally multifarious range of advanced technology and specialised vacations. More than just about the latest equipment, our World Class People are the Heart of the RSAF, pushing its technology to the furthest to defend our Nation. This set of stamps illustrates the World Class People behind our First Class Air Force. As part of the RSAF's 40th Anniversary celebration, it serves to recognise their dedication, professionalism and service to the Nation.
