Buka image editor dan pilih File >Open. Buka image underexposed anda dan klik OK
Klik layer background >Duplicate Layer. Bila duplicate layer pop up (background copy), kemudian klik OK. Pada layer palette, tukar duplicated layer blend kepada mode screen. Kemudian layer secara automatik menjadi terang.
Jika image terlalu terang, turunkan nilai opacity sehingga anda dapat hasil yang memuaskan. Jika image anda ada bayang hitam, klik Enhance→Adjust Lighting→Shadows and Highlights. Apabila dialog box muncul, anda boleh lightkan shadow dan jika perlu boleh naikkan nilai contrast. Jika image anda tidak terang juga ulangi blending mode SCREEN sekali lagi sehingga terang.
