Tak seperti bidang-bidang seni yang lain, yang mengambil masa dan kursus yang lama untuk diadaptasi, semua orang boleh belajar dengan mudah cara merakam gambar. Tetapi dalam bidang photography, semua orang boleh merakam gambar, tetapi tidak semua orang boleh merakam gambar yang menarik dan memberi impak yang berkesan.
